This is a resource that can be used to target misconceptions and DOK for assessments.
This mentor lesson observation and reflection form is to be completed by the BT when observing the mentor (or another master teacher) teach a lesson. This form provides a guided opportunity for the BT to reflect on different elements of the lesson and is a springboard for a discussion between the BT and mentor and/or coach.
I updated the Word document to a Google doc to make it more accessible. There are teacher and student instructions.
This form will allow mentors and coaches to provide instructional feedback on walk-throughs to beginning teachers. There are six sections including basic information; student participation and engagement;
collaboration; lesson planning; high expectations; and feedback.
A classroom management planning tool for beginning teachers to use during an observation as well as in follow up planning with a mentor. The focus of this tool is to move the teacher from simple observation of a strategy to the full implementation of the same.
