This task is tied to a part of our PBL unit. Students are to create a video tutorial of an exercise or movement related to a sport and explain the proper way of completing it.
This task ties into our school PBL Unit on body apps system design. The task asks students to design screens for an app using the Marvel App.

Students explore multiple forms of digital etiquette and citizenship. They research current events based around digital concerns and innovations. Eventually, they apply that knowledge to their own lives and use of technology to develop 5 top guidelines for digital device usage for their peers. Students share their presentations and projects in an exhibit-style venue. Using a survey, students vote for their top choices, eventually selecting one choice to implement.Standards:CCSS English Language Arts (Grade 8) Ohio Standards for Technology
Students will use the Escape Room to learn about the Engineering Design Process that they will be using in multiple projects throughout the year.

This resource is a template that teachers can use to create Inquiry Based Research Lessons and Units. It is a hyperdoc template that is based on the eWISE Research Model. It is broken into the 4 stages of the research model (Wonder, Investigate, Synthesize and Express). There are suggestions and details in each stage to help you plan your research unit.

This is an example of the Landing Page I used for my virtual Kindergarten class. Students and families used this page to access Zoom meetings, Google Classroom page, and more. It includes important links for student activities and various ways to contact the teacher.
This is a good video/article to use technology: Jamboard. I found it useful to stay engaged with interactions in meetings to increase the level of engagement with participant participation.
