It is a math lesson integrated computer science. It is designed as a project based learning lesson, and started with a real-life scenario. It requires students to solve a real-life situation with integrated subjects. The topic of the lesson is WCPSS G3 Unit 5 Reasoning with shapes. It asks students to identify different types of quadrilaterals including rhombus, rectangles, squares, parallelograms and talk about their attributes. As the same time, students will model how computer hardware and software work together as a system to accomplish tasks and conduct a program using Scratch including sequence and simple loop.
