I am an Exceptional Children's Teacher at a title 1 charter school. I work with students in Kindergarten through third grade and I love how easily this activity can be adapted for any grade. Fully aligned to the depth and breadth of the standards tagged, if it is adapted to use with higher numbers (at the moment it only goes to 20). The lesson has clear learning objectives that are achievable through completion of this resource. Has clear assessment strategies that will accurately measure student progress of the specified standards, but needs additional summative strategies. This activity is engaging as it provides opportunities for students to think critically and communicate with classmates. The language and vocabulary used is appropriate for the grade level it is intended for. While, they do provide one suggestions for how to implement the activity with students with disabilities, I think it could provide more.
