This is a remix of an existing resource - https://goopennc.oercommons.org/courses/lab-activity-report-human-traits-punnett-squares. It was created by New York Science Teacher. I remixed it because there were inaccuracies about the original content (eye color is not simple dominant/recessive) and there was family-based bias in the original resource. I made changes to focus on PTC tasting, because it is much closer to being simple dominant/recessive. The remixed resource directly addresses that even PTC tasting is not fully dominant/recessive any more.
This resource was designed to create a student handout for a Biology lesson that uses the Career Panel to learn more about cells. Educators should use the directions found at the Strategy from Better Lesson to design and implement the career panel.
