Test your boat making skills! Water play is an important part of early childhood development. Fill up a kiddie pool, big bucket or your tub and let the youngest children practice scooping and pouring water with a cup. This simple play is testing cause and effect. For older children, try making boats out of recycled and common house hold items as well as natural, found items. See several ideas for design then try some of your own!
