This is a document to obtain data. List the antecedent to the behavior that is presented. Then the behavior that occurred. Lastly, write the consequence that was given for the behavior. Outline the time and setting that the behavior took place. Then document a hypothesized explanation of why the behavior was displayed.

Students will research and report on a school system of a foreign country that they choose based on a typical school lunch.  Near the end of Unit 6 teachers will introduce students to multiple cultures by showing them typical school lunches (see website under technology accessories).  Students will base their decision of what country’s school system to look into solely on the lunch example.  

Students go on a hunt to find a word for each letter of the alphabet from a free online picture dictionary.

In this lesson, students will learn about and discuss the activist organziation ACT UP, a group whose creative techniques fored the government to act to combat HIV/AIDS. This lesson is broken into 2 readings, both with accompanying discussion questions.

Digital Public Library of America Primary Source Sets are designed to help students develop their critical thinking skills and draw diverse material from libraries, archives, and museums across the United States. Each set includes an overview, ten to fifteen primary sources, links to related resources, and a teaching guide. These sets were created and reviewed by the teachers on the DPLA's Education Advisory Committee.
