This roadmap is designed to help students track their progress/proficiency with NC 5th Grade Science Standards. Students can use the fill color tool to visually present their progress/proficiency for the standard on each road sign.This resource was developed as part of a professional learning opportunity funded by the NCDPI Digital Learning Initiative Planning Grant.

Clever is an application platform embedded inside the NCEdCloud and hosts many of the apps and resources educators use for student instruction. Some of the resources include SAS Curriculum Pathways, MasteryConnect, Lexia and so on. Additionally, educators can add their own favorite apps from either the Apple or the Chrome Store.

Due to a lack of content (in many textbooks) regarding the role women and minorities played during the Revolutionary War, students will be asked to compile resources using various resources including Michigan’s Open Book Project and various other online resources regarding a specific unit of study.

This session will bring new, integrated ideas and technology know-how to the K-5 teachers. Our goal for the session is to engage students, teachers, and parents, to share sample lessons, substantial amounts of free resources, and ways to integrate tech.

Even though many people use the internet daily, not very many know how it works. In this lesson, students will pretend to flow through the internet, all the while learning about connections, URLs, IP Addresses, and the DNS.

This google slide provides teachers and students with a chunking of the new Civic Literacy standards by unit and section. Students will learn how to evaluate a website while using a HyperDoc in a group task. Hyperdocs are interactive digital documents that may easily be edited by a teacher.

In this session you will learn about great multicultural literature selections that work well with STEM projects for elementary students. It is essential that we purposefully select and include multicultural resources with our students, and engaging them with STEM tasks deepens the learning. I will share ideas for the projects and materials that may be used to create the products.
