What is a SOAR Analysis? SOAR is a postive, strength-building analysis that a team can use to build an approach or future strategy based on reflecting about their current strengths, opportunities, aspirations, and results. When faced with a challenge, it is often routine to think about threats or dangers. SOAR provides a positive approach that is still results driven.This template could be used with students as they plan problem based learning projects or in preparing a solution for a real world issue. The template could also be used for professional development and school improvement.

Designed to help prevent summer reading loss, this set of printable books is for Grade 2 students getting ready to move into Grade 3. There are seven books, one for each week of summer, and each book has three chapters. These informational texts include information about summer activities and themes. Each book starts with guidelines on how to use the book. There are also comprehension questions at the end of each book, and each book has a place where students can keep records of their reading of chapters within books. If students have access to computers (e.g., the library), they can access a recording of each book that allows them to monitor and check their reading.
