During this PBL, students will read a text and make it come alive by creating a 3D story map that shows the major events of the plot and the obstacles that the main character faced throughout the story. Students will then code an Ozobot to maneuver through the story and the obstacles while explaining them to an audience or their peers.

This unit on digital citizenship helps students recognize the rights, responsibilities, and opportunities of living, learning, and working in an interconnected digital world and motivates students to act and model in ways that are safe, legal, and ethical.

In this lesson students will learn about transmission: 1- how not to pass germs to others and 2- how what they say and do online travels and reaches a broad range of people.

In this lesson students work in collaborative groups to collect, represent, and interpret numerical data that they generate by using Sphero robots to knock down bowling pins!

This lesson starts with an interactive quiz that teaches students about the ways in which hate may be encountered online. After completing the quiz, students discuss the issues raised and the strategies modeled for confronting online hate. In groups, students research an online environment (such as social networking sites) and a particular example of that environment (such as Facebook) to learn the issues, strategies and tools relating to online hate in that environment.

In this lesson students engineer ramps and race monster trucks. Students estimate and measure distances traveled and then organize and visually represent this data in a graph.

Third grade students will work to determine the main idea of a non fiction text and explore details.  Kahoot activity added.

In this lesson, students use their knowledge of sound energy to create a soundproof box to protect a secret code word! Students measure and graph decibels to determine how well their boxes omit sounds!

In this lesson students create large story maps to retell and familiar text. Students record themselves and place QR codes along the story map. Students then code Sphero Robots, dressed as main characters, to make their way through each part of the story.

Within this lesson students will pretend to go through the water cycle and then create a story of what it was like from their point of view. They will share their version of events with their classmates through a vlog format.
