A template to be used for mentor responsibilities throughout a calendar year.
This mentor lesson observation and reflection form is to be completed by the BT when observing the mentor (or another master teacher) teach a lesson. This form provides a guided opportunity for the BT to reflect on different elements of the lesson and is a springboard for a discussion between the BT and mentor and/or coach.

NASCAR is an excellent teaching application for students. STEM in action. During the sessions, you will learn how STEM is applied in real-world examples in NASCAR, from friction inside an engine to calculate the fuel added to the car. You will have the opportunity to learn to use household items for experiments and engineering, outdoors as a teaching environment, and the technology (OG and new) to amp up the engagement.

This resource is an easy to use template to utilize in creating a landing page for classes. Teachers may download it from Canvas Commons and fill in their own information with their own links, info and images. This is a tool for beginners who do not feel confident in creating a pathway (landing page) on their own. A landing page provides students access to class assignments, links, information, grades, etc in one easy to use page with intuitive navigation tools. This resource was developed as part of a professional learning opportunity funded by the NCDPI Digital Learning Initiative Planning Grant.

The students will watch two short videos over how germs spread. While they watch these videos students will think about what they can do to prevent from spreading germs with the rest of the students in the class. The videos and discussion after the video they should gather information to ask their family members or friends.
